The ICE Train North America Tour was a six-month presentation and test run of a German ICE high-speed train with power cars 401 084-9[1] and 401 584-8[2] through North America in 1993. The main purpose of the tour, organized by Siemens and AEG, was to showcase ICE technology in advance of the U.S.
