The film tells the story of a love affair that tames a vagabond. Zehra Hanım is fed up with her son Necmi's vagrancy. Necmi is actually a successful composer. However, in recent years he has become a compulsive gambler. He has lost all his earnings and his father's inheritance at gambling.
