Yuria (Kimito Ayumi) puts an end to her life in Tokyo to marry Yoshiharu, the eldest son of a farmer whom she met at a matchmaking party. Yoshiharu's family home is in the countryside, and she lives with her father-in-law (Kozo), who lost his wife three years ago.
