On a fuel-supplying oil tanker in rivers, Old Maqbool, a compassionate cook, wishes luck to all the crew. But the power-hungry helmsman suspects him of being a spy for the vessel owner and harasses him all the time. During port maintenance, Maqbool befriends Noora, a young stowaway seeking refuge.
