Soraya's mother is worried about her daughter's relationship with Hamid, an unemployed and penniless young man. The mother talks to Hamid and advises him to stay away from Soraya for her own good. After that, Iraj, Hamid's flashy friend, crosses Soraya's path, but Soraya rejects him.
