The story follows Cemile, who comes to Istanbul to buy a motorboat. Cemile is a fisher woman who lives with her grandfather. Her grandfather, Salih, also runs a tavern. Cemile’s greatest dream is to buy a motorboat. She has been saving money for this purpose.
