Ethel Moorhead was one of the many active campaigners for the vote between 1912-1914. Her crimes against property and defiant stance towards the state created her notorious reputation. She was the first Scottish Suffragette to be force fed whilst on hunger-strike in Calton jail, Edinburgh.
