Large pools of white water catch the sun’s last rays in the Caldara di Manziana. The wind stirs the hair of three children playing in the mud. They are siblings: Zoe, Ettore, and Marta. Their laughter fills the silence. They are alone, yet used to it. They return home to find their mother gone.
