Eriko, a 25-year-old office worker living in Tokyo, has become pregnant by her boyfriend, Ide, whom she doesn’t love all that deeply. Torn between her future and her lingering feelings for Uozumi, whom she dated in college, she travels to Shikoku—Uozumi’s hometown—with her best friend, Misato.
