Two teenagers arrive in Hong Kong from Guangzhou, hoping to find money and prosperity. Ah Man becomes an auto-mechanic; Lin works at an assembly line. After being drugged and raped by her boss, Lin leaves the job and becomes a call-girl where she meets a small-time hood named Wing.
