Historical movie based on the "The Martens Brothers" (Romanian: Frații Jderi) novel. Ionut is the youngest son of Commissar Jder, a trusted man of Stephen the Great. He falls in love with Nasta, the daughter of a boyar, and competes for her affections with Alexăndrel, the ruler's own son.
