The trial of Klaus Barbie was the first in France to be fully filmed for judicial-archives purposes. Original recordings total 145 hours of debate. In 2011, a 6-DVD box set entitled Le Procès Barbie – Lyon 11 mai / 4 juillet 1987 was published (by ARTE / INA).
