Marco, an Italian engineer comes from Milan to Santo Domingo, Haiti to continue the construction of a dam. The predecessor, Kluger, has disappeared without a trace and he would take his place. When he arrives, his wife Laura is there waiting for him and the two - along with their guide Romero.
