Orhan, the son of Kemal Bey, the owner of the farm, rapes Zeynep, the daughter of Ali Kâhya. Zeynep, who had pinned her hopes on the promise of marriage, does not tell anyone about it. When Kemal Bey learns of the situation, he decides to marry the couple.
