The film depicts Kudret's struggle against Ali Bey and his men, as he refuses to leave his neighborhood. Ali Bey, who has made a deal with the Americans, wants to build a factory in the Eşrefpaşa neighborhood. To do so, he must first evict the neighborhood's residents.
