The story sounds like a gripping thriller: almost 400 years after its publication, a previously unknown copy of Galileo Galilei's "Sidereus Nuncius", the "Starry Messenger", has appeared on the international book market. Unlike in the known copies, Galileo allegedly drew the moons himself.
