July 1944. San Miniato, Italy, is occupied by the Nazis. Paolino, the local tailor, receives a visit of the SS officer Rudolf Schmidt, who commissioned him a suit. One day, Lucia enters his shop. She is as friend of Paolino and a Partisan courier.
