The year is 1961, and Ruben and Gunhild Olsson have decided to go on vacation to Denmark. The only problem is that Ruben has squandered all their money on "crazy" deals. His boss, the domineering Bergström, has similar plans, namely to travel away with his beloved wife Solveig.
