In June 1997, a team of Argentine and Cuban scientists, including forensic anthropologists and geophysicists, carried out a search in the lands of the old Vallegrande airfield in Bolivia, to find the remains of Commander Che Guevara and the six companions who had been buried there 30 years earlier.
