Aida Santos Maranan is a poet, writer, teacher, feminist and NGO worker. In 1983, she co-founded the Katipunan ng Kababaihan para sa Kalayaan (KALAYAAN), one of the first feminist groups in the country, and other women's groups and initiatives.
