The first cinematographic adaptation of the infamous Count Cagliostro. The alchemist Athlotas foretells that his student, Cagliostro, will meet a gypsy named Lorenza. After a duel over her, Cagliostro takes Lorenza home and uses her exceptional medium powers to achieve immense fame.
