Between 1940 and 1945, Scheveningen was one of the Nazis’ most notorious prisons. The ironic nickname ‘Oranjehotel’ was a tribute to the many resistance fighters who were imprisoned there. An elderly man recalls his imprisonment at the Oranjehotel during the Second World War.
