Rejected by Mexican Catholic hierarchy and venerated by the masses, he has been compared to the Virgin of Guadalupe. Niño Fidencio (1898-1938) lived as a medicine man, spiritual healer and spiritualist medium. His actions were captured in historical images, some of which are still preserved.
