Lydia is an inveterate habitant of the Moldavian village, who is incredibly concerned about the opinions of others. When her husband dies, she wants to bury him following all the rules. A kind-hearted neighbor, Clara, reminds her of an old tradition – pomana, gifts in honor of the deceased.
