In 2019, at the international exhibition of the Venice Biennale, the Russian Pavilion hosted an exhibition by Alexander Sokurov dedicated to the parable of the Prodigal Son. In 2020, the exhibition was presented in the White Hall of the Hermitage in St. Petersburg.
