Paul Celan, a poet who survived the Nazi Holocaust during World War II, ultimately met a tragic fate, taking his own life in the Seine River in 1970. More than half a century later, a young poet named K sits at her desk, engulfed in despair. Suddenly, she hears a rose humming.
