Lennart Georg Meri (Estonian pronunciation: [ˈlenˑɑrt ˈgeorg ˈmeri]; March 29, 1929 – March 14, 2006) was an Estonian politician, writer, and film director. He served as the second president of Estonia from 1992 to 2001.
