After Regina Lampert falls for dashing Peter Joshua on a skiing holiday in the French Alps, she returns to Paris only to discover her husband has been murdered. Soon, she and Peter are giving chase to three of her late husband's World War II cronies—Tex Panthollow, Herman Scobie, and Leopold Gideon—who hunt them for a quarter million dollars stolen while behind enemy lines.
